In January 2026, viewers of the ABC series Grand Designs Transformations watched design duo Mitch and Corinne Pryor take a 1950s white weatherboard in Mitcham and turn it into a sprawling five bedroom home.
The couple behind electrical services company Pryor Connections pushed a $500,000 renovation budget to its limit, working with Abbotsford design studio Heartly to deliver a home that is daring and functional in equal measure. A spiral staircase. A bathroom finished in red Venetian plaster. A concrete entertainers’ area and landscaped gardens out the back.
The response speaks for itself. More than 400 buyers came through the pre-market launch, with price hopes now sitting between $2.8m and $2.98m.
The kitchen is the heart of this home, and it had to carry the design language of the whole project without compromising on how the family actually lives.
That meant a filtered water system that delivered on convenience without asking for visual space it hadn’t earned. Boiling, chilled and sparkling on demand, in a finish that sat inside the contemporary palette Heartly had curated rather than fighting it.
There was also a deadline. The renovation was being filmed for national television, which left no room for anything half done.
Mitch and Corinne selected the Billi Home BCS under bench unit, paired with the Multifunction Mixer Tap in Gun Metal Grey.
The under bench system keeps the working parts out of sight and delivers instant boiling, chilled and sparkling water from a single mixer tap. The Gun Metal Grey finish was chosen to complement the contemporary palette curated by Heartly, so the tap reads as a considered part of the kitchen rather than an appliance dropped into it.
The result aligns with what the @Pryorstate project is about: integrated, high performance solutions that support the entertainer’s lifestyle without cluttering the space.
