How do Tap Water Filters Work?
Billi’s tap water filter system sits under-bench with a tap that supplies filtered drinking water, which can also be chilled, boiling or sparkling. It incorporates a premium filter range that utilises BWT’s special Fibron X® technology. The system itself is permanent but all filtered drinking water systems require regular maintenance and most importantly, filter replacements which enable them to work effectively.
What do Billi’s Tap Water Filters Remove?
Our filters contain a multistage filtration system which includes a cyst filtration layer, a core and a post-filtration layer that traps fine sediments. Specifically, Billi’s filters:
- Remove particles in the water
- Remove parasitic cysts (0.2 Micron only)
- Reduce lead and heavy metals (0.2 Micron only)
- Reduce chlorine and organic chemicals
