Gone are the days when you only had sparkling water when you ordered it at a restaurant for the table. We can now enjoy making our own sparkling water at home – great when you’re after a refreshing drink on a hot summer’s day or when you’re entertaining. But what is the best way to make carbonated water at home?
There are many different types of sparkling water machines on the market these days. It can be hard to decide which one is right for you.
Billi has been designing and manufacturing under-sink filtered water machines for over 30 years, so we know a thing or two about high-quality drinking water systems and carbonation machines.
If you like your water with a bit of bubble and want to carbonate water at home, here is the low down on carbonated water machines for home.
There are two main types of carbonation machines on the market: those that require you to buy CO2 canisters and carbonation machines that use filtered tap water.
Whilst carbonation machines have a lower initial investment, there are the ongoing costs of canisters, and the plastic bottles also need replacing over time – which means more plastic in landfills.
With water straight from the tap, the water isn’t filtered either, you also need to pull out the carbonation machine or keep it on the bench cluttering up your benchtop to manually add carbonation every time you want sparkling water.
So, with years in the water filtration industry, we’ve found that one of the best ways to make carbonated water at home is with our under-sink filtered water carbonation machines.
But what makes them so good?
We offer a range of both residential and commercial carbonation machines. For use in offices or commercial spaces, we recommend using our SPEC Generator to determine the best system for your requirements.
