Hard Water Filtration Systems

In our systems, we use the highest quality filters for drinking water so they are suitable for use as hard water filtration systems. Our premium filters utilise unique Fibron X® technology created by BWT, Europe’s largest water treatment products company. This technology features a graded density profile ensuring maximum performance and capacity and provides superior drinking water quality and consistent filter life.

Our systems enable you to choose the filtration level that best suits your needs. Our 0.2-micron filter provides the highest level of filtration whilst our 5-micron filter provides a more standard level of filtration. Importantly, if you’re looking for a water filter for hard water, both the 0.2 micron and 5-micron filters enable minerals(e.g. fluoride which promotes better dental health) to flow through the appliance whilst preventing limescale build-up.

In addition to limescale, the 0.2-micron filters remove the following from your water:

• Particles
• Chlorine and organic chemicals
• Parasitic cysts including cryptosporidium & giardia
• Heavy metals

Our 5-micron filter provides a more standard option to improve drinking water, removing particles, chlorine and organic chemicals from your water, along with limescale. We do recommend replacing filters in our hard water filtration systems every 12 months to keep your unit running optimally, however some areas and higher usage sites may require filters to be changed more frequently.

One thing to note is that all our water filters for hard water also improve the taste and odour of your drinking water which can encourage users to drink water more often. Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: it helps regulate body temperature, keeps our immune systems strong, delivers nutrients to cells, and keeps our organs functioning properly.
